I think it is odd and perhaps telling that the only countries listed in the Middle East Section are Israel and Saudi Arabia. What happened to Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Syria, The Emirates, etc. Although Iran and Syria are now blacklisted there will be a time in the future when that is not the case. I know you have connections with that part of the world, so these countries could be included. Ignoring the majority of the Middle East is not a good business practice. A great deal of money is left on the table.

We couldn’t agree more. The problem is that relatively little information is available about business cultures, practices, and negotiation approaches in these countries.

That’s where we would like to invite users of this site to contribute their own information. Tell us about these aspects, or tell us about differences you see between different countries in the region, for instance between Saudi Arabia and the UAE or Kuwait. We need your help!
